I probably could retire today and never work another day for the rest of my life, but I want to share with you the secret of my success. I’m not a rock star or some famous celebrity, but I’ve managed to build a business in this down economy in Real Estate.
Everyone told me I was crazy when I opened my doors in 2007 and yet my business continues to grow and grow despite a ton of my competition and colleagues going out of business. They go out of business for many reasons but it really comes down to one thing.
Money…there I said it. It’s the big elephant in the room that no one wants to talk about. But if the business had enough money they wouldn’t go under and it all comes down to sales. The number of sales you make determine whether or not you will still have a job or a business at the end of the day.

The wonderful thing about living in America is that I can choose what I’m going to do today. I’m not saying you can’t do that in other parts of the world too but in America I know you can. As a business owner or Sales Manager you dictate your time on the things that are most important to bring in money and keep the business open or yourself in a job.
I’ve been a salesperson all my life and I’ve been knocked around a few times myself. I’ve lost 40% of my income in one day, but I always had a choice of what I was going to do. I’ve been in all kinds of situations before, some of them really embarassing…

The big equalizer for me has been that I consistently get in front of more decision makers using this simple system than most of the best sales people out there. I’ve made a habit of doing the things that most sales people hate to do and most sales managers don’t teach.
